A big congratulations to all involved in the 5,000 Poppies project who, just this week, have hit the 10,000 poppy mark. The project, which calls for people to crotchet, knit or otherwise create poppies in the lead up to Anzac Day 2015 has been a great success and reached their initial target of 5,000 poppies within the space of 6 months…. they have now set their sights on 25,000.
