Faces of the Orvieto
The HMAT Orvieto represents the scale of Victoria’s involvement in World War I and the ongoing connection our soldiers of the past have to communities, now, across the State.
The Victorian Government believes in sharing the stories of our World War I service men and women to ensure the ‘baton of remembrance’ is passed to future generations.
Here we tell the stories of some of those people who embarked on the Orvieto. We invite you to read their stories and in turn, SHARE YOUR STORY of your connection to the Orvieto.
In this way, we will remember them.
