ANZAC Centenary 2014-2018: Sharing Victoria's Stories

ANZAC Day 2016 – Who will you remember?

who collage landscapeThe 25th of April, ANZAC Day, marks the landing of Australian and New Zealand forces at Gallipoli on that day in 1915.

On ANZAC Day, Victoria remembers all those who served not only in the First World War, but in conflicts and operations throughout the last century. We remember those who served and sacrificed, and all those who have been touched by war and conflict.

Whether your family has been here for one hundred years, for thousands of years, or whether you have just arrived – ANZAC Day is a day for all Victorians to remember.

Whether it’s at the Dawn Service at Melbourne’s Shrine of Remembrance or at a local community service – this is a time to commemorate and to make connections.
