ANZAC Centenary 2014-2018: Sharing Victoria's Stories

Anzac Centenary House Plaques

Anzac Centenary House Plaques

In 2016 the Victorian Government conducted a trial offering Anzac Centenary House Plaques across selected suburbs in the state (for $70 each). The trial period has been completed and we are no longer offering plaques. However any Victorians who wish to have their own plaques made, at their own cost, are welcome to use the design and specifications below.

To check if a soldier or nurse lived in your home in 1914-18, visit the AIF Project, and search under your address. Make sure to tick the box to check on next of kin’s address too, as so many of those who enlisted were very young and still living in their parent’s home. The search results may also bring up others who lived in your street.

Once you have checked if a soldier or nurse lived in your home, you can download the design below to a plaque maker and have them produce a plaque for your home.

The cost of a plaque will be subject to individual suppliers.
